Open, fragrant, medium-high to highly aromatic nose has lovely ripe black & red raspberry, blackberry & black pepper spice aromas layered over savoury earth, oak spice + touches of meaty & dried herb. Medium+ to medium-full bodied on the dry palate w/ delicious ripe raspberry, blackberry, black pepper & dried herb flavours w/ a touch of jamminess. It has fresh, juicy acidity, while ripe, supple & fine-grained tannins provide a nice, textured mouthfeel, integrating nicely. Well-balanced w/ blackberry, raspberry & peppery notes tapering to long, savoury, mineral-tinged finish. Tasted Oct. 2024.
