Ruby colour with a garnet rim. Red fruits, new leather, and a bit of cracked pepper on the nose. The palate has moderate acidity and weight, with minimal tannins. The flavour profile seemed shy with only red cherry and resinous cedar coming through. Simple finish of moderate length. (Feb 2011)
