Querciabella's website is a bit vague on the grape composition, saying "Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc' other red grapes grown in Maremma" . Ok, so a bit of a mystery. It is aged in concrete vats, with no wood contact. Nicely balanced wine, with decent if not exception concentration and length. Fresh red fruit, dusty tannin and pleasant acidity.
