Medium-full bodied on dry, ripe palate w/ red & black berry, cherry, currant, cassis flavours, slightly stewed. Some gentle cedary oak, earth, dried herbs & spices add complexity. It's framed by juicy, well-balanced acidity & smooth, lightly chalky tannins. Nicely balanced throughout w/ earthy, evergreen, dried herb, currant & cassis all coming through on exceptionally long, balanced finish. Tasted Aug. 2023.
