It's only wine but I like it
About 10 years on from harvest, this Brunello seems in peak form. Fairly high acidity (even by Sangiovese standards), but within reason. Sour cherry fruit, dry red fruit and a hint of leather. Tannin is firm but silky and the finish is long. Really delicious wine. Drinking now, should hold another 3, perhaps 5 years. Tasted Sep2026.
