Aromas of violet, barnyard, game, black pepper, blackberry, cassis, and cedar. Goes on and on, a complex nose.

Juicy blackberry with cedar, chocolate, sweet licorice, a hint of pepper, and minerals to finish it off. Medium plus acidity, with medium minus finish and soft tannins.

Thought this would be bombastic but it was more on the elegant side. 90 minutes is when this starts to sing.- Dec 2023
