The '26 Brunello from D'Orcia is brimming with concentrated red fruit (slight tart red cherry, currant), a bit of pepper and herbs, and a hint of vanilla. Finishes with some very firm tannin and bitterness. I think that this was simply opened too young. Needs another 3 years+, should hold for much longer. Tasted Oct 2025.
