This is a very pretty wine with lovely pale color, fruity and slightly smoky nose and beautiful fruit on the palate and nice long finish.
An interesting note of pepper runs through this Gamay, enhancing the bright red fruit (cherry, cranberry). Light-medium bodied, fine grained tannin and crisp acidity, and even a hint of light herbs. Certainly the best Gamay I have had from Niagara. Should keep for a few more years, but I'd suggest drinking sooner rather than later to capture the fresh fruit. Tasted July 2021.
