Highly traditional, oak of many ilk, old-school Reserva and ultra-exacting Lan tempranillo of a definitive kind. Wild...
This slender, mature Rioja is on the down slope, with faded dried cherry, dank and dusty cellar and vanillin wood...

This blend of 92% Tempranillo and 8% Mazuelo was aged for 18 months in hybrid barrels made of French and American oak, and offers a medium-high intensity nose of dried red cherry and floral aromas with some earth and sweet spice tones. It is medium-full bodied with lovely aroma replays and very good acidity. Maturing tannins fold into the wine quite nicely. The finish is long, balanced, and juicy. Tasted Sept/2019. Score: 90+ pts
