May 2021. Scrumptious. Velvety, rich, beautifully layered, balanced mouthful of fruity elegance and hints of the oak, long elegant finish.
A blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 5% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo, this medium-high intensity nose of red cherry, strawberry, florals with subtle nuances of forest floor. It is medium-full bodied with supple, integrated, and fine, dusty textured tannins with lovely aroma replays. Acids are very good, while the mid-palate has a slightly tart, sour cherry character. Long, earthy finish. Maturing well, and should continue to drink well into the late 20's. Tasted Oct/2019.
