Tawse has been producing single-vineyard Gewu¨rztraminer from the Quarry vineyard since 2009. Planted on mixed limestone and clay soils, this estate vineyard is farmed organically and biodynamically and produces exceptionally
fragrant Gewu¨rztraminer. The moderately warm 2013 vintage led to slower ripening and exceptional varietal intensity in aromatic varietals. This is clearly evident on the nose of this fragrant Gewu¨rztraminer, bursting with lychee and guava, as well as pretty notes of rose petals. On the palate, lively notes of marmalade, mandarin and fresh ginger make this aromatic wine extremely food-friendly.
