Ontario, Canada$23.45
Decanter Magazine: Best in world Chard
Winemakers
The Estate Chardonnay was made from hand-harvested grapes from our estate vineyards: Robyn’s Block, David’s Block and Hillside, all farmed organically and biodynamically. This marriage of the different terroirs results in a wine of great complexity and balance. This wine was barrel-fermented and aged 12 months in French oak, followed by six months in stainless steel tanks. The Estate Chardonnay is a medium- bodied wine, with a perfect balance of fruit and structure. It is a layered wine with crisp notes of apple, grapefruit rind hit of spic
Graham's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2008, Douro Barraida
Portugal$16.95
Sweet Port wine. Some consider it still too young after 8 years, may need additional aging. Give it a chill in the fridge before serving, especially in the summer. Try with dried fruit, nuts or after dinner with a good book...

Winemakers Comments
Tawse has been producing single-vineyard Gewu¨rztraminer from the Quarry vineyard since 2009. Planted on mixed limestone and clay soils, this estate vineyard is farmed organically and biodynamically and produces exceptionally
fragrant Gewu¨rztraminer. The moderately warm 2013 vintage led to slower ripening and exceptional varietal intensity in aromatic varietals. This is clearly evident on the nose of this fragrant Gewu¨rztraminer, bursting with lychee and guava, as well as pretty notes of rose petals. On the palate, lively notes of marmalade, mandarin and fresh ginger make this aromatic wine extremely food-friendly.
Reviews and Accolades
Tawse Quarry Road Vineyard Gewurztraminer 2013 ($25, winery, 90 points) – From the estate’s certified organic-biodynamic Quarry Road Vineyard on Vinemount Ridge. A soft, pretty nose with lifted rose petals, ripe grapefruit, lychee, cloves and spice. It’s lush and exotic on the palate with wild honey, cloves, ripe grapefruit, lychee and an array of spices that lead to a long, textural finish. Rick VanSickle - Dec 2014
Food Pairings
With its floral notes and hint of sweetness, Gewu¨rztraminer is the perfect choice with spicy dishes, especially Asian cuisine. It would pair beautifully with teriyaki chicken, Korean BBQ ribs, shrimp tempura and avocado rolls or Peking duc
