Pronounced oxydative character, tannins, flavour of dried figs, medium body. I'm glad I had a chance to try a traditional, aged Rioja, It was very interesting and not unpleasant, but I won't go out of my way for more.
I let the second bottle breathe longer and it was much nicer. Complex, enticing. Had it without food.
