Hello! My name is Nina. I am a wine enthusiast and a student at International Sommelier Guild.

I became a wine enthusiast quite recently. I always was a foodie. And I noticed wine was always part of the meal in many countries. So I wanted to find out more! I went to ISG courses. And now I’m hooked! I love the history, I love the varieties.

I love wine. And I love how you can build your taste with wine and food.
I'm doing private parties for wine and food pairings. I want people to learn something new and have fun!

Dark, ruby colored in the glass.

Even though this wine is still young, it’s very big, rich.

Concentrated flavors of dark fruit, leather, little bit of menthol and smoked meat.

Very complex and elegant wine, balanced tannins with long finish.

Domaine Parent Pinot Noir Bourgogne 2011, Ac Bottle
Domaine Parent Pinot Noir Bourgogne 2011, Ac
Burgundy, France
$21.95

It was rather disappointing.

It’s not a bad wine but why did they put it in the vintage section?

It is good table wine, very young. Fresh berries flavours, fresh acidity. I think for this kind of wine this one is quite overpriced. I’m guessing back in Burgundy it will be 2-3 euro top.

I didn’t enjoy it and it’s made to be consumed young.

Tuscany, Italy.

A blend of mostly Teroldego with Syrah.

In the glass deep ruby red, with purple rim.

On the nose oak, blackberry.

On the palate dry, medium bodied, very soft palate, gentle and balanced tannins. Smooth with aromas of stone fruit, floral with the hint of minerality.

Finish is long with smoke flavors.

Very nice wine, new grape to taste. Will be great with Italian pasta with meat sauce.
