tasting gives off supple black fruits with a hint of spice, oak balanced and well integrated. This wine won a gold medal at the Sydney wine show 2010. Drink until 2030.

Domaine Terlato & Chapoutier Lieu Dit Malakoff Shiraz 2010, Pyrenees

This is a very different shiraz from the usual fruit forward fruit bombs offered up by Australia. this is very reminiscent of Syrahs from the Cote du rhone region. this is a wonderful wine for meals like Pork Tenderloin,
Turkey.

all mencia is aged briefly in new french oak and then in older barrels before bottling.
Dark ruby, ripe red and blackcurrant aromas are complicated by anise, cola and sexy oak spices. soft dark berry preserve flavours gain minerality and firmness with air. Massena The Eleventh Hour Shiraz 2006, Barossa Valley, South Australia

wine aged for 20 months in seasoned french oak hogsheads ( 300 liter barrels compared to 225 liter for a standard barrique)
nose gives hints of smoke, charcoal, mineral,
black raspberry. it has layers of savoury fruit and very good balance. This will be in its prime from 2012 to 2024.
