Hardys Hrb Heritage Reserve Bin Shiraz 2007, Mclaren Vale & Clare Valley, South Australia
South Australia, Australia$26.75
Bright purple crimson; a very fine and elegant shiraz. its texture and structure will guarantee a long life if you keep your hands off it. - be patient and it will reward handsomely!
tasting gives off supple black fruits with a hint of spice, oak balanced and well integrated. This wine won a gold medal at the Sydney wine show 2010. Drink until 2030.

California, Usa$187.95
bought at Sherry Lehman in NYC
Domaine Terlato & Chapoutier Lieu Dit Malakoff Shiraz 2010, Pyrenees
Victoria, Australia$35.25
This is a very different shiraz from the usual fruit forward fruit bombs offered up by Australia. this is very reminiscent of Syrahs from the Cote du rhone region. this is a wonderful wine for meals like Pork Tenderloin,
Turkey.
Descendientes De J. Palacios Pétalos 2010, Do Bierzo
Galicia, Spain$25.00
all mencia is aged briefly in new french oak and then in older barrels before bottling.
Dark ruby, ripe red and blackcurrant aromas are complicated by anise, cola and sexy oak spices. soft dark berry preserve flavours gain minerality and firmness with air. Zesty cherry skin and mineral notes carry through a long gently tannic finish. Josh reynolds, international wine cellar sept 2012.
La Dame De Malescot 2009, Ac Margaux, 2nd Wine Of Château Malescot St Exupéry
Bordeaux, France$37.25
2nd wine of Chateau Malescot St.Exupery.
Looking forward to comparing the grand cru to this second wine.
Vine Cliff Los Carneros Chardonnay 2009, Napa Valley
California, Usa$37.50
Vine Cliff consistently produces one of the best Chardonnays in Napa Valley.
The cool vintage gives it refreshing acidity, while the flavours are ripe and frankly delicious, suggesting pineapple, key lime pie,
vanilla custard, buttered toast, vanilla. the girding of minerality helps the dry structure.
Really complex, and a joy to drink. Steve helmoff, wine enthusiast, Dec 1, 2011.

South Australia, Australia$37.70
wine aged for 20 months in seasoned french oak hogsheads ( 300 liter barrels compared to 225 liter for a standard barrique)

black raspberry. it has layers of savoury fruit and very good balance. This will be in its prime from 2012 to 2024.

Melville Verna's Estate Pinot Noir 2010, Santa Barbara County
California, Usa$26.25
Greg Brewer has the heart of a poet. his yeilds are so low that he grows as many grapes on a 1,800 vines per acre that other producers grow on 500 acres.
ripe pinot flavours of raspberry and cherry refreshed by fine acidity. a fine example of Santa Barbara County Pinot.
