Description to follow as I meander through my next bottle, but if you are looking for a value wine that does not suffer from the typical 2 dimentional falvour palette, this one is with picking up

Quinta De Baixo Tinto 2008, Doc Bairrada

There is certainly nothing offensive about this wine.
It is drinkable, pleasant, but pretty much non-descript.
You can find better wines under $12 maybe even under $10 that fits this same profile.
I would suggest as soon drink fusion and save five dollars a bottle for the flavor complexity this one delivers.

Quite full and chewy

Quite frankly, exceeded my expectations for an inexpensive petit Verdot

Cesari Amarone 2007, Veneto

A favorite of Chris and Tanya (aka 40th b-day)
Delicious medium to full bodied.
A delight to enjoy but I can't be more specific as it was a while ago it was enjoyed

Chalk Hill The Procrastinator Wits' End Vineyard 2008, Mclaren Vale, South Australia

Very good drinking wine
Would buy more in a snap but they are running out quickly.
Looking forward to the next batch from this guy

Mezzomondo Negroamaro Salento 2009, Puglia

At first I was unimpressed.
It seemed to have a unfinished, rough, biting feel.
The second bottle (Not at the same time :-) did appeal to me more. Not sure if it was the paring, or, just the state of mind.

For $8.00, it is a good wine to have at the table for drinking, but, there are a few at this price I have on my list to replace before this one.
