Sandhill Cabernet/Merlot 2009, VQA Okanagan Valley, Sandhill Estate Vineyard
British Columbia, Canada$19.95
retry and decant . was delicious but not over the top amazing.
Rutherford Ranch Zinfandel 2008, Napa Valley
California, Usa$19.95
Giddyup all the way.
I like this wine, it's got a full body, complex structure, it's plain and simple wonderful.
At $20 a bottle, I don't think it's a great deal but it is absolutely worth the money.
Considering there are only a few bottles left around town, I think I'll have to buy a couple for the inventory, if you find it go for it you will not be disappointed.
K W V Cathedral Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Western Cape
South Africa$15.95
This is a very yummy wine.
Who knew that horse smell could be appetizing, never mind intriguing.
Starts with a nose of wet leather, but in the most appealing of ways.
On the buy Again list for sure. At 15 clams, I have had worse at twice the price and not very often better for less
La Rosa La Capitana Carménere 2009, Cachapoal Valley
Chile$13.95
An excellent wine that benefitted tremendously with a decant o f 60 min or more.
Velvetty without being tingue coating and hairy.
Hints of cedar round out the flavour.
Definatly remains on the shopping list, this one can benefit from some time in the cellar

Like an angel crying on your tongue.

Delightful, tastes of smokey berry with warm floral compote.
