Didnt expect much, as other 2014 brunelli have been disappointing and quite dilute. However, this was an eminently drinkable bottle, with plenty of classic red fruit flavours.and some of the earthy qualities common to sangiovese.

Pleasantly quaffable and easy-going at 10% alc.BV. Leans strnogly towards citrus, but not the petrol notes one might expect of the varietal. Some mineral flavours on the finish, and a slightly unusual vegetal quality which combines quite nicely with a well-rounded lemon flavour profile. Worth buying by the case for drop-in social events.
