2014 is a rather dilute soft vintage for this inexpensive red from the Midi. The nose shows mild red and black cherry...

At small price ($ 13.90), a very decent red from Languedoc, of Minervois appellation, generous and spicy. July 2016

I absolutely love this wine. I've been drinking Gourgazaud for ~15 years, and most vintages have been delightful.

The nose is so rich with garrigue, cherries, leather, earth, floral notes. Stunning nose, and shockingly good for the price point.

Medium body. Great balance. Soft tannins. Tart red fruits, earthy notes, lots of garrigue, gorgeous floral notes, nice medium long finish.

This wine goes to show, how we all have different palates. Many reviewers give this mediocre reviews, but I'd take this wine over 90% of wines rated 90pt plus points. 3 years old seems to be a great age.
