I find this wine to be a good staple for evening meals. It has good body, reasonable flavour, and never tastes bad to me (unlike the similarly priced Grao Vasco, which sometimes seems a bit harsh). I'm not a sophisticated taster, and have found that tasting is very subjective. Rather than do one-off tastings, I rely instead on trying a wine several times to see if it continues to taste good under a variety of circumstances, and so far, this one does. 2012 vintage, Nov. 2013.
