Fielding Pinot Noir 2010, VQA Lincoln Lakeshore, Niagara Peninsula
Pinot Noir
Ontario, Canada
$24.95
Fielding's 2010 Pinot Noir is a good jump up in quality over the 2009. It's already showing a slight garnet tinge on the rim and high-toned aromatics, so I don't think it's one for the cellar, but I very much enjoy the bright red berry fruit, floral and pot pourri notes, and integrated barrel spice. Tannins are firm and dusty, offering good grip, while acids are balanced. Very good length. Score: 90 (John Szabo, MS, WineAlign.com, May 2013)Critic Reviews (2)
