Domaine Maby La Forcadière Tavel Rosé 2012, Ac
Rose
Rhône, France
$16.95 (701318)
Here is a great value pink from Tavel, one of France's most famous appellations for rose. A medium intense nose, with a palate that offers red berries and red peppers, joined by fresh herbs and a touch of spice. This is a well made and very refined rose, that is definitely head and shoulders above many of the cheap and cheerful roses on the market. Dry and medium-bodied with a fair bit of depth and good structure, this will be a good match for grilled vegetables and chicken or pasta with creamy sauces. Chill well and drink now.
