Arkeos is a blend of a San Felice-resurrected Tuscan variety called pugnitello, combined with much more common sangiovese. It has a piquant nose of lifted of meaty/sausage, smoke, leather, violets and currants. It’s medium-full bodied, dense, fruity and nicely rich and savoury, with great length. Tannins are quite fine.
