Jackson Triggs Proprietors' Grand Reserve Chardonnay 2011, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Chardonnay
Ontario, Canada
$19.95 (593996)
Very inviting nose of buttered toast, coconut oil, orchard fruit, grilled pineapple, cantaloupe and a touch of vanilla. It’s got some oomph and plenty of flavour concentration, yet stays lively and fresh thanks to a brilliant streak of acidity. A fine oaked Chardonnay that’s approachable now and should last 5+ years.
