Perfect balance, sweet & tart
Ripe and red off the top with an almost candied quality. Notes of red currant, cherry, cranberry, leather, pepper, and a dried herbal earthy character. Very juicy with a salty edge. Medium bodied with soft tannins and med + acidity. Very good length.
Drinking very well now. Super balance even with softer tannins; very good fruit and acidity. Pours quite light in colour. Excellent value.
