I have to admit this wine has more complexity than expected. Notes of sour cherry, stewed strawberry, blackberry, leather, forest floor, and white pepper. There is also a phenolic rawness present that gives the wine an edge. Medium minus body with matching, very fine tannins. Acidity is medium plus and length is moderate.
A good gamay in a light styled manner. Crisp cran-cherry with a distinct bitter tone. Goes with food or on its own.
