This is the wine that taught me there can be great sparkling wine made outside of France (and you can get it for a much better price). Made using the traditional champagne method, the bubbles are perfect and the wine is not-too-sweet, crisp, and yet warm and friendly. Great value. Buy!!

Surprisingly good for under $15. Mellow and leathery with plum. Not so fruity with a good amount of tannins. Not as complex as I might like. Reminds me of a used bookstore, in a good way.
