Black cherries bathed in a clove and vanilla and am alcohol induced sweetness. It does not scorch your mouth as you would imagine with a wine that clocks in at over 15-per-cent alcohol. Rather it is a model of power and finesse, and the perfect balance between the two. Carafe 1 hour before serving. Tasted June 2014.
