Firestone Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Santa Ynez Valley

I found this Cab on a whim last summer. It has been my go to when having beef dishes.

Plentiful flavours with blackberry, blackcurrant, chocolate, and a subtle oak vanilla finish.

Wish the LCBO near me carried it more, I would buying this wine more often.

We found this wine a bit tart, lacks depth. Perhaps it was the bottle we had but I was less than impressed. You can subtly taste tobacco flavours as well as berry fruit, but as mentioned the after taste reminded me of tart cherries.
