Gardet Tradition Brut Champagne, Aoc, Chigny Les Roses, France Bottle
Gardet Tradition Brut Champagne, Aoc, Chigny Les Roses, France
Champagne, France
$64.95

I find it incredible that Sara d'Amato rates this wine so poorly. In my view this champagne is without much aroma, but it is a fine wine with very good length. In comparison to more expensive champagne this is a wonderful bargain.

Great value for a Chianti. Unlike Lawrason I find the wine has charm and has a fine balance of fruit

This wine is a second release of the wine. This is a wonderful wine with great structure and finess. It is the best wine from the area I have tasted. It has a a smooth long finish.

Hacienda Lopez De Haro Reserva 2005, Doca Rioja Bottle
Hacienda Lopez De Haro Reserva 2005, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain
$18.95

This wine is underrated by John and David. This wine is a good example of a Rioja produced in a great year. There is a fine balance of wood, spice and plumb. Yes, it is mid weight but although it does not have a long finish, but it does linger beautifully on the palate. The tannins are ripe and well balanced. What a great price !
