This wine holds a lot of subtle complexity that evolves with time in the glass. Notes of dried red cherry, raspberry, white pepper, graphite, cardamom spice, and a woodsy element dominate. As the wine evolves there is smoke, tobacco, and a hint of bay leaf and chestnut that present themselves. Medium bodied with matching acidity and medium, but fine tannins. Very good length.
