I had the opportunity to taste the vintage 97 01 05 07 08, for the last two tasted recently I can say that I was very impressed from 08, far more complex, full-bodied, with hints of ripe fruit very definite, cocoa tobacco, dry and very astringent tannins that makes it quite unique, impression that this wine is already mature and ready to drink ..

Great wine, but in my opinion is not ready to drink, looks very young and has a very intense fruit, the wine has almost a sweet taste, I remember in the old vintages this wine had less density, more complexity, and tannins much more evolved.
May be it would be better to keep it in the cellar for a while before drinking it ..
I will prefer a Brigaldara instead.

For a chianti classico 2010 I would say that the results are excellent, clean, well-balanced,
sensations of red berry fruit, reminds me of the wild strawberries, not astringent tannins, but with a dry finish, a young wine but elegant enough ...
