I'm new to Canada from the USA and love a good bargain wine..preferably red but also a good white or rose.. my reviews may be a little more positive (on reds) because we use a nuance aerator spout (equivalent to one hour of decanting) to pour.. bought it at St. Lawrence Market & it makes a world of difference! http://www.wineaerator.ca/

Citra Montepulciano D'abruzzo 2010
Abruzzo, Italy$8.25
Wow! I'm shocked by the taste for this price. After 1 hour of decanting, it's better than most budget wine's I've tried. Very smooth and flavorful with a bite and smooth finish.

Eclipse Montepulciano D' Abruzzo 2009, Doc
Abruzzo, Italy$8.25
really nice, light crisp, slightly fruity but not too sweet with a crisp and smooth aftertaste... highly drinkable! (* I use a nuance aerator.. equivalent to decanting for 1 hr., which affects the taste!) Probably better to decant or aerate this wine!
Emiliana Adobe Reserva Rosé 2011, Rapel Valley
Chile$12.95
Just a hint of sweetness without being too sweet, pleasantly surprised with this Rose! Just a tiny bit of bitterness but better than too much sweetness! Best REALLY cold.
