crisp acidity, lots of fresh summer fruits.
Good aperitif wine; especially on a hot day.
for the price, this wine is actually quite good value.

Cloudline Pinot Gris 2009, Oregon

not nearly as good on its own as it is with food; I tried it with semi-spicy indian and it made this wine come alive.
Not the best pinot gris i've had, but decent, and from an interesting region.

Casa Castillo Monastrell 2009, Do Jumilla

typical mineral expression for the region.
pear fruit quite dominant up front, followed by apple and stone.

Cave De Rasteau La Domelière Rasteau 2009, Ac Côtes Du Rhône Villages

needs at least 30 mins of decanting, up to an hour is best.
the finish is excellent (once opened up).
Typical dark fruit dominates with this blend.
overall quite a nice wine, especially for $15.
