Michel Torino Cuma Organic Torrontés 2010, Cafayate Valley

Tried this because of the good reviews, and, this being my first experience with Torrontes, I can't compare it, but I can decidedly agree with Sarah's review on this one. This is unusual wine, not bad, but not that good.

A little better than expected from the WA reviews - especially day two, so, give it some air. Not that light at all. Rich and tasty, not sweet, a little stoney. Really good. If you like Chinon usually, try it.

Château Du Port Cuvée Prestige Malbec 2010, Ac Cahors

I guess it always depends on what one likes in a wine, but I found this very nice and easily comparable or better than many that DL rates 88 and 89. But I like a tannic bite on the finish. DL's description is quite good I would say, so, maybe not for the fans of jammy modern styles, but this does have nice fruit flavour along with a more old school feel and finish. Good Value.
