Vergenoegd Estate Shiraz 2003, Wo Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch, South Africa$22.95
Maturing but not yet past its prime, the nose is filled with smoke, tobacco, dried fruit, leather, cedar and earth. The tannin's are present but have rounded and are well integrated, the acidity lends a delicate balance. An interesting mature bottle is something we dont see nearly enough of.
Clavesana Dolcetto Di Dogliani 2011, Docg
Piedmont, Italy$15.95
Bright purple in the glass with ripe plum, cherry jam, and intense floral/violet aromas. Light to medium body with plush, soft cherry and plum flavours, round tanins and just enough acidity. Short finish, clean and simple.
