Black Hills Nota Bene 2018, BC VQA Okanagan Vallley
British Columbia, Canada$68.98
If you didn't see the bottle, you would think this is a Bordeaux from France! It's a lovely Bordeaux blend made to perfection here in Canada, at the Black Hills Estate Winery, British Columbia. Notes of dark cherry, blackberry, cassis, baking spice and those lovely pyrazine notes from the Cabernet in the blend give you a wine you can sip on, on a cold winter night or pair with that steak you've been craving.
Tin Barn Vineyards Pickberry Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, Sonoma Valley, Sonoma County
California, Usa$50.15
This is a lovely deep ruby coloured wine, with typical Cabernet Sauvignon green pepper notes on the nose, and notes of dark cherries, pomegranate and black tea on the palate. Velvety texture, lush, and great length. Can be cellared another 5+ years! Great value at $50.
Moon Curser Malbec 2018, Okanagan Valley
British Columbia, Canada$36.89
Great Malbec from Moon Curser with a beautiful purple colour. Ripe, dark fruit like blueberries and blackberries on the palate and very well integrated tannins. Pair with red meats like grilled steak or pulled pork and enjoy!
Tin Barn Vineyards Zinfandel Gilsson Vineyard 2014, Russian River Valley, Sonoma County

Acústic Celler 2015
Catalonia, Spain$28.39
Deep Ruby colour with violet hues. Even though the palate had notes of ripe black cherry and blackberry with licorice and clove, the acid stayed intact, balancing the wine. Moderate plus tannins gave an after taste of dried violets and menthol, and made for a long lasting length. The high alcohol gives a warm sensation in the throat. Overall a treat to drink. Pair with grilled meats.
