I had a bottle of Kaiken at a restaurant last night and was very impressed. In general, I’m a Malbec fan. This wine in particular had good balance, smooth, a touch of spice and refreshing fruity flavours. Overall, a good medium bodied wine, it’s got my vote.

Tilia Malbec 2008, Mendoza

I picked up a bottle of Tilia today, just out of the blue. Surprised by it; A nice fruity taste and didn't find it bitter at all. If you're a Malbec fan, 12 bucks, you can't miss.
