Very fragrant nose of cranberries, raspberries and spices. Very smooth on the palate with spices and red berries.Nice long finish.

Delas Frères Les Launes Crozes-hermitage 2010, Ac

Spiciness, meat and dark fruit on the nose. Good fruit and meatiness on the palate with a hint of pepper and a nice finish of soft tannins.

Giribaldi Barbaresco 2006, Docg

Bonterra Pinot Noir 2010, Mendocino County

Fruit driven Pinot on the nose and palate with raspberries, strawberries and cherries. Not much of the earthy character of some Pinots. Nice long but slightly hot finish.

F. Tinel-blondelet L'Arrêt Buffatte Pouilly-fumé 2010, Ac

Nice straw colour with a slight greenish tinge. Lovely citrus and apple notes with a hint of flowers on the nose. Nice and zesty but very flavourfull on the palate with pear, lime and apples with a touch of minerals.Nice long finish. Tasted March 2013.

Tawse Cherry Avenue Pinot Noir 2010, Twenty Mile Bench VQA

Time has been good to this wine. Much improved since tasted over 2 years ago. Lovely fruit and spices on the nose and palate. A little short on the finish.

Stoneleigh Pinot Noir 2012

Good colour with nice nose of sour cherries and a hint of spices. Sour cherries and cranberries on the palate with some spice and a nice finish. Tasted August 2013.

Vollenweider Kröver Steffensberg Riesling Spätlese 2007, Prädikatswein

Some petrol and green apples on the nose and a very fresh palate with citrus and apples, nuttiness and mushrooms. Medium to long finish.
